Taijiquan (Tai Chi) is a traditional Chinese exercise system for wellbeing, suitable for men and women of all ages.
Taijiquan has its roots in the martial arts and yet the flowing movements are relaxed and help quieten the mind. As a form of exercise, it can be gentle enough to be suitable for older adults and yet demanding enough to pose a challenge to a young athlete. you will be encouraged to exercise slowly and smoothly and build up your strength and flexibility at your own pace.
The benefits of Tai Chi include relaxation, maintainance of health, improved balance, co-ordination and posture. It is a low impact excercise which is kind to the joints.
